Private to Volturi;
Speaking of killing humans, eventually I suppose we'll have to deal with the matter of Gianna. I know what she wants, but that would not necessarily keep me from rewarding her loyalty with a swift and painful death.
Out of sheer curiosity, what do the rest of you think? Does Gianna have the makings of a guard or are you all just waiting for her to die or be eaten so we can get another?
End Private;
New York is incredibly charming. Some of the people here are very rude, however, and whole groups of them seem to enjoy congregating in one place to take a picture of themselves standing in front of what I assume to be some landmark or another. I've seen them taking pictures in front of stores and fountains and in parks.
It's beginning to get a little cumbersome and I am sorely tempted to eat them all to rid New York of its tourist problem. How many times must you and your I ♥ New York t-shirt really appear on camera? I doubt it's interesting the first few times let alone the next five hundred.
Other than that, I'm rather enjoying myself, even more so now that I've heard the news. It was bound to happen.

Private to Elissa;
I believe I'm just about ready for the trip to New York. If it's still your desire to go, you may begin packing and we will be there by Friday afternoon.
End Private;
Blocked Against All Humans Except Gianna;
I met a very interesting man by the name of Dante yesterday afternoon. He invited me into his home to meet his wife and lovely daughter after he found me wandering a remote corner of the city. He thought I was in need of a place to stay the night. I am often struck by the kindness that still exists in so dark a world.
Of course, the fool should know better than to invite complete strangers into his home. He was very delicious, as was his wife, and his daughter made the mistake of trying to wound me with a lamp before she screamed. Were I her, I would have done the screaming first. But, then again, were I her, I'd be a little more dead than I currently am.
In any case, for such insolence, I spent the better part of the night teaching her why lamps don't make adequate weapons but the intentions behind her actions were just unacceptable. She hurt my feelings. It seemed only logical that I hurt her in return.
To make a very long story short, I'm quite full, but also quite bored. I think it may be time to take my leave of Volterra again. Gianna, please obtain two tickets for myself and my mate for New York.

Private to Gianna;
I almost forgot. Demetri, Felix, Anya, Heidi, and Giuliano all wish to attend Dartmouth. Arrange it immediately.
End Private;
Private to Volturi;
It seems as though it's going to become quite empty around here again what with five of you heading off for college. Dartmouth is a nice choice, though, so I suppose I can't find much cause to complain. I'm still of the opinion that absolutely anywhere is better than Forks.
End Private;
Private to Elissa;
How soon do you want to leave for New York? I'm in no particular hurry, but the trip is primarily for you so I will leave it to you to decide when we leave.
End Private;
The next time I go on such a long vacation, I will ensure it is to a place of actual interest. The only thing Forks can brag is a pungent smell and that's hardly anything to brag about at all.

Private to Volturi guards;
I think we should take advantage of the Cullens' Parisian reprieve to go on a less classy vacation of our own. Alec's been wanting to go to Vegas and I can't think of a better time. Although I don't understand why you would want the option, those who would rather remain in Forks are welcome to do so. Just let me know who among you is interested in going so I know how many tickets to have Gianna order. Or, I suppose, you could just call her and tell her yourself.
End Private;
This town truly is even more dreary than described. I don't understand why anyone lives here of their own free will. It goes above and beyond the natural bias living in a place like Italy provides. Forks is simply awful.

Gianna and I arrive in Forks tomorrow morning. Come amo lle nozze.
Private to Volturi guards;
One of you will have to come and pick us up from the airport. I don't particularly care who it is as long as you get there on time. I'll have fed healthily before we arrive, but lateness might lead to boredom and nothing good ever comes of my being bored. I might eat something I'm not supposed to.
I've given Gianna what I suppose amounts to "time off" while she's there, but I've also given her a cell phone by which we can reach her at any time. She's been instructed not to take longer than thirty minutes.
End Private;

Private to Gianna;
I don't expect to see you from the time you settle in your room to the moment we get back on the plane to Volterra, so I've bought you a cell phone.
If it's not answered should any of us call, with a half-hour leeway to retrieve the item we have called for, you'll be confined to the house for the duration of the visit. This is a vacation for you, but you are still ours. Does that sound fair?
End Private;

Private to Vampires;
Werewolves are such utterly useless creatures. Overconfident. Weak. Quick-tempered. Foolish. I have no idea to which girl that particular dog was referring, but his warning would only make me want to eat her all the more. I do so hate to be told what to do.
But then, there is that treaty to remember.
End Private;
Private to Gianna;
Where are you?
End Private;
Evidently, the days leading up to the big day can be just as exciting as the event itself. It truly appears as though all the action, in a manner of speaking, is taking place across the ocean.
I'd inquire as to why these... people are being allowed to the wedding, but it is not my place to debate the guest list. Meanwhile, I am starving and I hear the sounds of a festival...
5/6/08 08:28 am
due.
Private to Gianna;
Retrieve a ticket to Madama Butterfly, a Lamborghini catalog, and an empty suitcase as soon as possible. I've listed those in order of importance. Do not keep me waiting.
End Private;
Private to Alec and Jane;
What are your favorite colors?
End Private;
The clock is stealing time as it always does. This month will be through before any of us realizes it and this whole ugly business will be over and done with. Relatively speaking, of course.
In the meantime, I'm going to see a show tonight. There is nothing quite like losing oneself in an engaging plot decorated with beautiful music and pleasurable company.
4/30/08 10:37 pm
uno.
It's... eerily silent here without the others. Or perhaps it just appears that way because of all the added space in an already large castle. Either way, luxuries have become daily routines and I've nearly finished one quarter of the books in the library.
As though to make up for the quiet, there have been a series of festive events in town. Parades, carnivals, and other outdoor gatherings of the like. So many people packed into squares and streets and street corners. It's rather difficult to get around unless you clear a path. Perhaps they, too, are celebrating a wedding.
Private to Volturi guards;
If you have anything of interest to report, kindly proceed to do so. I don't think I need to remind you not to eat the humans in Forks. For one thing, it's a small town and they tend to notice sudden disappearances. And, for another, that silly little treaty will be broken with the girl's death only.
You're welcome to do whatever else you'd like to them just as long as their blood remains under that oh-so-thin layer of tissue and membranes.
End Private;

You'll hear her cry, "Oh, take this. Make it something beautiful again. Make this happen cause you're beautiful to them." Got you, anyway, I'm gonna say that I've been taken over No, let's go again, you tell me when and I'll be taking over
( time stands still )
